When you get to the page with all the date options that the Wayback brings up try Jan 24 2004. I tried a bunch that didn't work but had luck with that one.

That page from 1/24 does indeed come up, but the downloads themselves don't work. I'm sure that the original poster didn't mean to be a tease, but all you get to do with the Wayback Machine links is look at all the music you can't download from gdlive.

Odd...it worked for me up until the download. Then I couldn't get anything to download. Also, I didn't see the date that was mentioned earlier?

Tried it - the text downloads ok, but the files all come up as 5kb downloads. The music isn't there for me, either.

In 2002 Brewster and Jon pitched the idea of the LMA to etree.org folks. We'd never heard of archive.org and were skeptical that they could do such a large scale thing. Then I went to archive.org, visited an old copy of gdlive in the Wayback, clicked on something at random and... OMG, they *could* do it! I'll never forget that jaw-drop moment- I was instantly hooked on this place. :)
